LOCAL GOVERNMENT SERVICE COMMISSION ON A MONITORING TOUR TO AMUWO ODOFIN LG.

       ...Hand over utility Vechicle to the Environmental Services Department


The local government service commission paid a working visit to Amuwo odofin LG, to monitor and evaluate the performance and welfare of staff which is paramount to the local Government service commission.


The team Led by Mr. Babatunde Akinyanmi the commissioner 1 representing badagry division had on his train, the commissioner representing ikeja division Hon. Dr. Oladipupo Ajomale and directors from the local Government  service commission. 


Hon. Dr. Oladipupo Ajomale in his opening remark appreciated the management team and the entire work force for making their job at the local Government service commission easy  he stated the achievements of the local Government  service commission so far,He emphasized on how they created a friendly atmosphere at the local Government service commission to accommodate all and sundry, they introduced other cadres to be council manager, lateral conversion and regular promotion excerise.


He advised on strict compliance to government directive on Covid 19 pandemic and also to take it seriously and be more conscious due to the global pandemic.


Mr. Babatunde Akinyanmi in his remark, advised staff to be conscious of the civil service rules and financial regulations and not to be involve in any fraudulent act.


He said further that equipments and working tools should be made available for effective delivery in each department and unit, he said there should be regular medical check-up for staff to avoid sickness and sudden death.


Furthermore, he advised that there should be cordial relationship between management staff and also advised staff to prepare for life after retirement, he said it's necessary hence the need to be proactive while in active service.


In his words"Don't drink alcohol carelessly and recklessly especially men and to take good care of their family"

 He also made it known that the promotion letter of staff  is available for pick up.


Finally the commissioner ,  thanked the Governor, Mr Babajide Sanwoolu  for the prompt payment of staff salary.


The Council Manager, Bldr Babatunde Akitoye, appreciated the commissioners and his team and prayed that God will always guide them wherever they go.


In another development, the executive chairman of Amuwo Odofin LG, Engr. (Dr.) Valentine Buraimoh and the commissioners handed over a utility vehicle to the Environmental services  department for a smooth working capacity, ably  headed by Mrs Oluwakemi Fawole

Ooni Condemns Incessant Rape, child Abuse as Ife celebrates Yeyemolu festival

The Arole Oduduwa & Ooni of Ife, Ooni Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi Ojaja II has condemned incessant rape, child abuse and other forms of molestation particularly against women in the society. Ooni Ogunwusi made the disclosure on Friday, during the annual Yeyemolu festival; which is the remembrance of the first queen of the Ooni of Ife, at his Ile Oduduwa Palace, Ile-Ife. HON. IDRIS BOLAJI MUSE ARIYOH COMMISERATES WITH FATOKI FAMILY

Oshodi-Isolo Local Government Chairman Hon. Idris Bolaji Muse Ariyoh commiserate with the family of the former Mandate Chairman in Oshodi-Isolo Local Government Elder Albert Babasola Fatoki who passed on today, 10th January 2021 at his residence in Whaabi Larinde after a brief illness.  In a condolence message signed by him, he described the late as a leader, father, an astute politician, and a community leader who spent his life in the service of humanity and his community. He described the exit of the political icon as a great loss to the entire Oshodi community, Ogunoloko ward, and  most especially the All Progressives Congress whose immense contribution to its success in all the elections cannot be over-emphasized.  He prayed Allah  grants him eternal rest and give the family, his friends, and associates the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
