NEW YEAR: HON.BOLAJI MUSE ARIYOH FELICITATES WITH NIGERIANS AND RESIDENTS OF OSHODI

As the world celebrates the millstone of another new  year and a new Decade we are usher into, I congratulate all Nigerians and the Residents of Oshodi -Isolo Local for witnessing such a glorious and epoch moment of life.


Without a doubt, year 2020 was a tough and unprecedented challenge across the globe via the eruption of the global pandemic (COVID-19) that got the world unaware and nearly crippled all human activities. 


As we move into year 2021 properly, I implore you to keep hope alive and be more resilient in the quest for the better future that awaits us as an individual and nation at large.


We must all raise our bar and be committed to the continued growth and development of our dear country, state, and local government for a prosperous country in the year.


Peace and tranquility are very cardinal to achieving any monumental progress and development which all  must pursue  in the year by remaining law-abiding citizens.


As a government at the grassroots, we remain committed to continued better  service to the  people with dividends of democracy getting to the nooks and crannies  without leaving any stone unturned this year.


Towards hitting the ground running in the year for the continued implementation of programs that will impact lives and the community at large, I have presented the Fiscal Appropriation for the year to the Legislature for approval.


Even when the year Budget had been named  " Budget of Transition" our focus as government remains working across all the critical sectors of governance at the grassroots for the realization of a Local Government that is effective, functional, responsible  and responsive to the yearnings and agitation of the people.


We remain resolute in our  commitment to the welfare and the development of our great Oshodi.


The year shall be of blessings and accomplishments to you all.

Ooni Condemns Incessant Rape, child Abuse as Ife celebrates Yeyemolu festival

The Arole Oduduwa & Ooni of Ife, Ooni Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi Ojaja II has condemned incessant rape, child abuse and other forms of molestation particularly against women in the society. Ooni Ogunwusi made the disclosure on Friday, during the annual Yeyemolu festival; which is the remembrance of the first queen of the Ooni of Ife, at his Ile Oduduwa Palace, Ile-Ife. The frontline traditional ruler while explaining the indispensable roles of women in the society, admonished that they should be respectfully protected from all social vices towards creating a better society. “Women must not be made prey in the hands of hoodlums and other disgruntled elements in the society. HON. IDRIS BOLAJI MUSE ARIYOH COMMISERATES WITH FATOKI FAMILY

Oshodi-Isolo Local Government Chairman Hon. Idris Bolaji Muse Ariyoh commiserate with the family of the former Mandate Chairman in Oshodi-Isolo Local Government Elder Albert Babasola Fatoki who passed on today, 10th January 2021 at his residence in Whaabi Larinde after a brief illness.  In a condolence message signed by him, he described the late as a leader, father, an astute politician, and a community leader who spent his life in the service of humanity and his community. He described the exit of the political icon as a great loss to the entire Oshodi community, Ogunoloko ward, and  most especially the All Progressives Congress whose immense contribution to its success in all the elections cannot be over-emphasized.  He prayed Allah  grants him eternal rest and give the family, his friends, and associates the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
