When this medium published a story on the allegation on Thursday, 27 April, 2023, the FCC reacted through a statement by its Director of Public Affairs, Dr Chucks Okoli, condemning our publication and saying there was no substance in our story. The Catholic residents of the Brazilian quarters of Lagos Island hosted its first frejôn fiesta to mark 2023 Easter celebration. Frejon is a coconut milk and bean soup which is eaten especially during Holy Week by a selection of Christians, mostly Catholics, across the world. Opposition People's Democratic Party (PDP) has been ejected from its Lagos state secretariat on Adekunle Fajuyi way Ikeja over unpaid rent by the party. The Execution order was effected in the early hours of Monday by fully armed mobile police officers and court baillif. The execution lasted for over two hours, where the property of the former ruling party was thrown out.   Most of the neighbors of the party were surprised at the development as they discussed the ejection in groups. Efforts to get the party spokesperson proved abortive as his number wasn't going through at the time of filling this report.
