2023: LAGOS YOUTHS ENDORSE ASIWAJU, SANWO-OLU , OTHERS

The National Youth Council of Nigeria,Lagos State chapter has made it known that the only Presidential Candidate the youths of the state believe and will vote for is Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

This was made known during a program organised by the council and powered by the honorable Commissioner for Youth and Social Development, Barr. Olusegun Dawodu earlier today 23rd February 2023 to officially announce the endorsement of not only the APC presidential candidate but the re-election of the executive Governor of Lagos State,Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu and all APC Candidates across the state.


The event held at the Marquee event hall at the LTV premises in Agidingbi Ikeja Lagos had in attendance, the Lagos State Commissioner for Youths and Social Development, Barr. Olusegun Dawodu who  urged all Youths in Lagos State to not just vote for but canvass other youths, families and friends to vote the Apc Presidential Candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu and all Apc Candidates in the coming elections.


The event which also had in attendance, Barr. Omolara  Alakija of the Directorate of Voter's Education who educated the Youth on how to effectively cast their votes through physical demonstration.


Numerous Youth groups like the Boys Scout, African Las and Lasses Brigade, Girl's Guide, Sheriff Guards,Ibile Youth and some other Community based youth groups across the state were also in attendance to give their support to the APC presidential candidate.


The Secretary of the APC Campaign Council in the State,Ogboni Fuad Oki who was also present gave advice to the youth on how to take over from the older generation,he emphasized on the fact that those in government are not willing to go unless youth radically get themselves involved in politics.He said the future of Nigeria is to be determined on Saturday during the presidential election and the right person who can lead the country is no other person than Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu who has always been an advocate for youth participation in governance.


The event which also had some other  Lagos State  cabinet members in attendance, also afforded some of the beneficiaries of the youth in governance, a  system used by the former executive Governor of Lagos and the APC Presidential Candidate, Asiwaju Tinubu, the opportunity to give testimonies on how he has impacted lives of different youths at different stages of their lives.


A prominent Youth Influencer and the Executive Vice Chairman of Agege Local Government Area, Oluwagbenga Abiola aka Agbelebu while speaking to the Press reiterated that, the only candidate that can bring People Oriented Development to Nigeria if voted into office is Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu. He made reference to how Lagos used to be unsafe to becoming the most secured state in Nigeria and also becoming the  cleanest State in Nigeria through policy driven ideologies.

Ooni Condemns Incessant Rape, child Abuse as Ife celebrates Yeyemolu festival

The Arole Oduduwa & Ooni of Ife, Ooni Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi Ojaja II has condemned incessant rape, child abuse and other forms of molestation particularly against women in the society. Ooni Ogunwusi made the disclosure on Friday, during the annual Yeyemolu festival; which is the remembrance of the first queen of the Ooni of Ife, at his Ile Oduduwa Palace, Ile-Ife. HON. IDRIS BOLAJI MUSE ARIYOH COMMISERATES WITH FATOKI FAMILY

Oshodi-Isolo Local Government Chairman Hon. Idris Bolaji Muse Ariyoh commiserate with the family of the former Mandate Chairman in Oshodi-Isolo Local Government Elder Albert Babasola Fatoki who passed on today, 10th January 2021 at his residence in Whaabi Larinde after a brief illness.  In a condolence message signed by him, he described the late as a leader, father, an astute politician, and a community leader who spent his life in the service of humanity and his community. He described the exit of the political icon as a great loss to the entire Oshodi community, Ogunoloko ward, and  most especially the All Progressives Congress whose immense contribution to its success in all the elections cannot be over-emphasized.  He prayed Allah  grants him eternal rest and give the family, his friends, and associates the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
