*OMOLOLA ESSIEN MOURNS THE PASSAGE OF HONORABLE NURUDEEN ADEMOLA ANIMASHAUN, SUPERVISOR FOR BUDGET AND SPORTS LAGOS MAINLAND LOCAL GOVERNMENT*

The Executive Chairman of Lagos Mainland Local Government, *Hon. Mrs Omolola Essien* has expressed shock and sadness over the death of the council's supervisor for budget and sports, *Hon Nurudeen Ademola Animashaun*.

The council boss described the late Supervisor as an epitome of humility and a true reflection of humanity.

She said " *it is with deep sense of great loss but total submission to the will of Almighty God that I note the demise of a party loyalist, an embodiment of good character who always use his wisdom and vast experience to garner positive  change  in the behavior of the people around him*".

She prayed that God Almighty in His infinite mercy accepts his return, grant his immediate family and  the good people of Lagos Mainland Local Government the fortitude to bear the loss.

Ooni Condemns Incessant Rape, child Abuse as Ife celebrates Yeyemolu festival

The Arole Oduduwa & Ooni of Ife, Ooni Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi Ojaja II has condemned incessant rape, child abuse and other forms of molestation particularly against women in the society. Ooni Ogunwusi made the disclosure on Friday, during the annual Yeyemolu festival; which is the remembrance of the first queen of the Ooni of Ife, at his Ile Oduduwa Palace, Ile-Ife. The frontline traditional ruler while explaining the indispensable roles of women in the society, admonished that they should be respectfully protected from all social vices towards creating a better society. “Women must not be made prey in the hands of hoodlums and other disgruntled elements in the society. HON. IDRIS BOLAJI MUSE ARIYOH COMMISERATES WITH FATOKI FAMILY

Oshodi-Isolo Local Government Chairman Hon. Idris Bolaji Muse Ariyoh commiserate with the family of the former Mandate Chairman in Oshodi-Isolo Local Government Elder Albert Babasola Fatoki who passed on today, 10th January 2021 at his residence in Whaabi Larinde after a brief illness.  In a condolence message signed by him, he described the late as a leader, father, an astute politician, and a community leader who spent his life in the service of humanity and his community. He described the exit of the political icon as a great loss to the entire Oshodi community, Ogunoloko ward, and  most especially the All Progressives Congress whose immense contribution to its success in all the elections cannot be over-emphasized.  He prayed Allah  grants him eternal rest and give the family, his friends, and associates the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
