OKOWA,WIFE TO ISOLATE FOR 14 DAYS AS DAUGHTER TESTS POSITIVE FOR COVID-19

The Delta State Governor,Dr Ifeanyi Okowa and his wife will be self isolating for fourteen days as one of their daughters tested positive for covid 19.

The Delta governor on his Twitter handle disclosed this and promise they will be updating the people. 

According to the Delta governor"earlier today,Edith and I received the news that one of our daughters has tested positive for covid 19. Hence ,in line with the laid out procedures,we are both going into isolation for the next 14 days.  
We will continue to keep you updated. 

It will be recalled that two of his commissioners had tested positive for the pandemic and are already isolating.

Ooni Condemns Incessant Rape, child Abuse as Ife celebrates Yeyemolu festival

The Arole Oduduwa & Ooni of Ife, Ooni Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi Ojaja II has condemned incessant rape, child abuse and other forms of molestation particularly against women in the society. Ooni Ogunwusi made the disclosure on Friday, during the annual Yeyemolu festival; which is the remembrance of the first queen of the Ooni of Ife, at his Ile Oduduwa Palace, Ile-Ife. Oshodi-Isolo Local Government Chairman Hon. Idris Bolaji Muse Ariyoh commiserate with the family of the former Mandate Chairman in Oshodi-Isolo Local Government Elder Albert Babasola Fatoki who passed on today, 10th January 2021 at his residence in Whaabi Larinde after a brief illness.  In a condolence message signed by him, he described the late as a leader, father, an astute politician, and a community leader who spent his life in the service of humanity and his community. He described the exit of the political icon as a great loss to the entire Oshodi community, Ogunoloko ward, and  most especially the All Progressives Congress whose immense contribution to its success in all the elections cannot be over-emphasized.  He prayed Allah  grants him eternal rest and give the family, his friends, and associates the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
