Olabinjo resolves Ojokoro Legislative crisis
The former two term chairman of Ojokoro LCDA, Hon. Benjamin Adeyemi Olabinjo (BAO) has resolved the rift between the members of Legislative Arm of Ojokoro Local Council Development Area (LCDA).
It will be recalled that sometimes last week, news broke about the suspension of the Deputy Leader of the House, Hon. Dauda Maruf representing Ward E.
On Monday, the two term former council boss of the LCDA invited the Legislatures to douse the tension in the council noting that a house that stands against itself will fall.
Hon Olabinjo during the close door meeting with the leader of the house, Hon. Abdoul-Azeez Osho and other members of the legislative, was able to listen to both sides ofq the legislative arm and made them realize their flaws.
“You are not supposed to be fighting yourself as this weakens the structure of your house. A house that stand against itself will fall and this will not give you the ample of time and opportunity to move and build in unity”, Olabinjo said.
The Leader of the House, Hon. Osho appreciated the timely intervention of BAO. Noting that the crises could have degenerated into a bigger one if it was not nipped in the bud through Olabimjo’s wealth of experience and his grassroot development skills.
“Sir, I want to appreciate you for your timely intervention on this matter, Most especially your calls when the issue began. Oga, you are a true leader”, he said.
Osho who later debunked the report of some media on the issue as he or other legislators never granted the press any interview on the matter as it remain family affairs and that will be settled in-house.
