NATIONAL FILM AND VIDEO CENSORS BOARD BOSS FELICITATES WITH MUSLIM FAITHFULS ON EID IL KABIR.
The director General of the National film and video censors board,Alhaji Adedayo Thomas has sent a congratulatory message to all Muslim faithfuls across the country on the occasion of this year's Eid il Kabir.
In a message he personally signed,the DG strated he is delighted to celebrate with others despite the ravaging pandemic.
According to him "I am most delighted to celebrate along with all Muslim Faithfuls on yet another Eid el Kabir celebration.
This season signifies the importance of great sacrifice, obedience and unyielding love. May this season therefore bring sweetness, joy and fulfillment to our individual lives, homes and loved ones, and may we live in health, vitality, prosperity, bliss and longevity to witness more years of celebrations ahead"
Continuing"we may be constrained by the pangs of the Covid-19 pandemic, but we thank Almighty Allah for preservation.
It is important to reiterate that we must adhere to all safety and preventive protocols and directives and prevent all regrettable actions during and after the festivities."
He solicited the support and cooperation of all in the fight against the covid 19 pandemic and that people must adhered strictly to safety measures being ordered by government
"This period calls for our support and full cooperation with the government in the nation's fight for quick and permanent remedy.
May Almighty Allah heal our land and grant our leaders direction on the way out"
He finally enjoined Nigerians to only buy and watch only films and videos censored by the board.
Finally,"in the spirit of the season, may I also enjoin us to ensure that we, and encourage others around us as well, to consume only films and video works classified by the Board. Let us join hands to stamp out the widespread distribution of unwholesome and unapproved entertainment contents, intellectual property theft, and bootlegging of other people's investment.
Nigeria shall surely rise out of her ashes to shine as a beautiful bride."
