OSHODI ISOLO COUNCIL BOSS FELICITATES MUSLIM ON EID-EL-KABIR CELEBRATION

Oshodi-Isolo Local Government Chairman Hon. Idris Bolàji Muse Ariyoh has enjoined Muslims to imbibe the lesson of Eid-ul-Adha through prophet Ibrahim and his son Ismail.

He said this in his Eid- el-Kabir message signed by him which read thus 
" Today is a significant day for Muslims across the world, it is a day we remembered the obedience of Prophet Ibrahim, his faithfulness to Almighty Allah and reward from His creator for being a man of honor. I implore every one of us to emulate the virtues of Prophet Ibrahim and his household "

He further advised Muslims to be moderate and observe all the precautionary steps against the communal spread of COVID-19 while celebrating.

"Dear brethren, the present pandemic of COVID-19 has affected our ways of life globally and economically it requires everybody's commitment to adhere strictly to the World Health Organization COVID-19 precautionary measures to complement government efforts.
The annual pilgrimage to mecca and other significant Muslim rituals was canceled this year,  testimony of the current dreaded pandemic ravaging the world.
Let's continue to pray for our nation and the world for quick invention of Vaccines to cure this virus because Allah is the only one with the wisdom who can say BE and it would BE! "

He wish all Muslim faithfuls  happy Eid-el-Kabir celebration.

Ooni Condemns Incessant Rape, child Abuse as Ife celebrates Yeyemolu festival

The Arole Oduduwa & Ooni of Ife, Ooni Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi Ojaja II has condemned incessant rape, child abuse and other forms of molestation particularly against women in the society. Ooni Ogunwusi made the disclosure on Friday, during the annual Yeyemolu festival; which is the remembrance of the first queen of the Ooni of Ife, at his Ile Oduduwa Palace, Ile-Ife. Oshodi-Isolo Local Government Chairman Hon. Idris Bolaji Muse Ariyoh commiserate with the family of the former Mandate Chairman in Oshodi-Isolo Local Government Elder Albert Babasola Fatoki who passed on today, 10th January 2021 at his residence in Whaabi Larinde after a brief illness.  In a condolence message signed by him, he described the late as a leader, father, an astute politician, and a community leader who spent his life in the service of humanity and his community. He described the exit of the political icon as a great loss to the entire Oshodi community, Ogunoloko ward, and  most especially the All Progressives Congress whose immense contribution to its success in all the elections cannot be over-emphasized.  He prayed Allah  grants him eternal rest and give the family, his friends, and associates the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
