THREE YEARS STEWARDSHIP OF HON. IDRIS BOLAJI MUSE ARIYOH GIANT STRIDES ON WORKS AND INFRASTRUCTURAL DEVELOPMENT..



Infrastructure remains  one of the viable indexes for measuring the growth and development of every society which is the reason the development attained is always based on the quality of infrastructural edifices put in place.

The challenge of infrastructural deficit in the country at all level of governance remains a watershed that government strives in providing solution to which is the reason the deplorable condition of roads in Oshodi has been receiving the much-needed attention giving rise to positive change which has been a pivotal cum cardinal focus of Hon. Idris Bolaji Muse Ariyoh led administration.

The strategic location of the Local Government serving as the economic nerve centre of Lagos, which connects people to other parts of the state and the nation at large no doubt  put a heavy burden on its infrastructure due to the regular influx of users.

Towards arresting the deplorable state of inner roads within the Local Government, the pragmatic and people-oriented administration of Hon.Bolaji Muse-  Ariyoh, is leaving no stone unturned in ensuring that Oshodi becomes a hub of good inner road network for economic growth and convenience of residents yielding the desired result with the connectivity of all crucial link roads within the Local Government.

Despite the astronomical increase in the cost of constructing roads coupled with the paucity of fund ravaging the Local Government, the council Authority has been working relentlessly in bringing a paradigm shift in the area of Infrastructural renewal across the length and breadth of the community for the deepening of good governance.

This year alone (2020), the  Local Government in collaboration with the State Government was able to construct  

1.Adesanya/Oyegoke Street

2. St.Paul Street

3. Rehabilitation of Oludegun Street

4.Sectional Rehabilitation of Sehinde Calisto.

The Execution of the above Roads by the State Government was facilitated  by the Local Government and funded via  collaboration efforts between the  State Government and the Local Government.

2. Ishola Daniel 
3. Ago-Ijaiye 
Was reconstructed through the efforts of Hon.Akeem Shokunle (LAHA) who facilitated it as constituency project with support of  Hon.Bolaji Muse who ensured its completion by Lagos state government .

In the same vein, the following gigantic infrastructure  constructed by the Local Government which were  commissioned in the year 2020 are 

1.Ajisegiri Road with the sectional reconstruction of drainage

2.Oluwani street with drainage and street light.

3.Odulame with drainage  street light and big plant to power the light was procured.

2.Re-surfacing of Owoseni Street

3.Re-Surfacing of Owoseni link Road

4.Re-construction of Ajenifuja Street

5.Rehabilitation of Mukandasi Street 

6.Rehabilitation of Oluyeye Street 

7. Re-Construction of Arowojobe Street 

8. Re-Construction of Oyegunwa street

9.Rehabilitation of Olowora street

10.Reconstruction of Arowosegbe street

11.Reconstruction of a collapsed culvert at Baba Ode/Oluwasanmi

12.Rehabilitation of Akintunde and Kalejaiye Beesam street

16.Resurfacing of Ogunwemimo street

17.Rehabilitation of Salawu street 

18.Reconstruction of Makinde Culvert

3. ILLUMINATION OF THE SECRETARIAT WITH   SOLAR SYSTEM

 4. COMPREHENSIVE REHABILITATION  OF  MARRIAGE REGISTRY ALSO EQUIPPED WITH STATE OF THE ART FACILITIES

5. CONSTRUCTION OF A NEW CUSTOMARY COURT, ALSO EQUIPPED WITH STATE OF THE ART FACILITIES 

6.COMPREHENSIVE REHABILITATION OF THE  LEGISLATIVE CHAMBER AND ALSO EQUIPPED WITH THE STATE OF THE ART FACILITIES 

COMPREHENSIVE RENOVATION OF HEALTH CENTERS AT THE AJIBULU AND THE ONE IN THE SECRETARIAT

MASSIVE REHABILITATION OF AJIBULU AREA OFFICE WITH LANDSCAPE BEAUTIFICATION

RECONSTRUCTION AND UPGRADE OF OSHODI PUBLIC HEALTH CENTER IN THE LOCAL GOVERNMENT SECRETARIAT WITH MODERN MEDICAL  EQUIPMENT AND FACILITIES .

Despite the extraneous variable mitigating against the Local Government in the area of infrastructural 
development, it is never gainsaying that unalloyed commitment to the sector has been more evident with many to come.
