AMUWO ODOFIN LG BOSS BROKERS SYNERGY WITH LAWMA FOR A CLEANER ENVIRONMENT

The office of the Director of LAWMA, Mr. Ibrahim Odumboni was at the Local Government Secretariat of Amuwo-Odofin LG to meet with the Executive Chairman, Amuwo-Odofin LG, Engr. Dr. Valentine Buraimoh to initiate a partnership that will ensure that Amuwo-Odofin attains a cleaner environment. 


Led by the Assistant General Manager, Mr. Sulaiman 'kemi who represented the Managing Director, LAWMA, familiarized the Chairman with the agenda of the meeting which includes, Sustainability,

Synergy between health officers and PSP operators and extinction of operations of cart pushers. 


The chairman applauded the pragmatic step by the agency to initiate a meeting with the local government 


"It is an understatement if we say this synergy is long overdue. The THEMES Agenda of our Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu which includes a cleaner environment cannot be achieved if all hands are not on deck. To this end, I pledge my commitment to the synergy and will provide all neccessary support to make it fly",  The Mayor submitted


The meeting agreed that a war should be declared against cart pushers and their operations within the Local Government, residents should be encouraged to patronize PSP operators and an enforcement team to discourage indiscriminate dumping of refuse on the median and roadsides.

Ooni Condemns Incessant Rape, child Abuse as Ife celebrates Yeyemolu festival

The Arole Oduduwa & Ooni of Ife, Ooni Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi Ojaja II has condemned incessant rape, child abuse and other forms of molestation particularly against women in the society. Ooni Ogunwusi made the disclosure on Friday, during the annual Yeyemolu festival; which is the remembrance of the first queen of the Ooni of Ife, at his Ile Oduduwa Palace, Ile-Ife. HON. IDRIS BOLAJI MUSE ARIYOH COMMISERATES WITH FATOKI FAMILY

Oshodi-Isolo Local Government Chairman Hon. Idris Bolaji Muse Ariyoh commiserate with the family of the former Mandate Chairman in Oshodi-Isolo Local Government Elder Albert Babasola Fatoki who passed on today, 10th January 2021 at his residence in Whaabi Larinde after a brief illness.  In a condolence message signed by him, he described the late as a leader, father, an astute politician, and a community leader who spent his life in the service of humanity and his community. He described the exit of the political icon as a great loss to the entire Oshodi community, Ogunoloko ward, and  most especially the All Progressives Congress whose immense contribution to its success in all the elections cannot be over-emphasized.  He prayed Allah  grants him eternal rest and give the family, his friends, and associates the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
