NNPC Petrol Leakage at Isheri

Safety Alert...



There is a Petroleum Motor Spirit (PMS) leaking at Iyana Odo on Atlas Cove-Mosimi System 2B Pipeline segment.


This hint was dropped this morning by Mrs Margret Adeseye, Ag. Head, Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service while addressing pressmen at the scene of the incident.


According to her, a distress call was  received at about 0541hrs to Peace Estate, after Petrocam Bus Stop, Isheri and Firemen from Ikotun Fire Station were swiftly mobilized to the scene.


"On getting there, it was discovered that PMS was gushing out from the pipeline linking Isheri to Igando and environs of Alimosho, Lagos", she stated.


Mrs Margaret further explained that the NNPC pumping operations has been suspended while men of the Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service are putting the situation under control and NSCDC are providing security to forestall any imminent danger. 


However,  she warned members of the public, particularly, residence within these corridors not to make open fire along these areas in order to avert danger pending the conclusion of the repair works by the NNPC.

The Arole Oduduwa & Ooni of Ife, Ooni Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi Ojaja II has condemned incessant rape, child abuse and other forms of molestation particularly against women in the society. HON. IDRIS BOLAJI MUSE ARIYOH COMMISERATES WITH FATOKI FAMILY

Oshodi-Isolo Local Government Chairman Hon. Idris Bolaji Muse Ariyoh commiserate with the family of the former Mandate Chairman in Oshodi-Isolo Local Government Elder Albert Babasola Fatoki who passed on today, 10th January 2021 at his residence in Whaabi Larinde after a brief illness.  In a condolence message signed by him, he described the late as a leader, father, an astute politician, and a community leader who spent his life in the service of humanity and his community.
