SKIBANJ OFFERS SCHOLARSHIP TO INDIGENT STUDENT IN OSHODI

A politician  and a philanthropy,Hon Skibanj Gbeleyi has offered scholarship to an indigent resident of Oshodi local government ,miss Favour Chiamaka Nwaze who gained admission but doesn't have the required fund to enrol in her school .



It was a dream come through for Miss Favour Chiamaka Nwaze, An 18  years old student residing in Oshodi,who got admission into University of Benin, Edo State and could not afford the school fee because of the financial position of the family.


Miss Favour and her mother Mrs Mary Nwaze said they have to approached Hon.Skibanj Gbeleyi for help because of his philanthropical role  in Oshodi and environs and he obliged them.  


It was an emotional moment when Hon.Skibanj Gbeleyi announced his assistance to Miss Favour Chiamaka Nwaze,tears rolled down from the eyes of the mother because Hon.Skibanj didn't just pay the school fee but also promised to take care of her bills throughout her stay in school (Scholarship). 


Hon Gbeleyi in his reaction disclosed that the assistance is not a new one,but an on going effort to support indigent young men and women in the local government to achieve their potentials. 

 He promised he will continue to support youth development

Ooni Condemns Incessant Rape, child Abuse as Ife celebrates Yeyemolu festival

The Arole Oduduwa & Ooni of Ife, Ooni Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi Ojaja II has condemned incessant rape, child abuse and other forms of molestation particularly against women in the society. Ooni Ogunwusi made the disclosure on Friday, during the annual Yeyemolu festival; which is the remembrance of the first queen of the Ooni of Ife, at his Ile Oduduwa Palace, Ile-Ife. HON. IDRIS BOLAJI MUSE ARIYOH COMMISERATES WITH FATOKI FAMILY

Oshodi-Isolo Local Government Chairman Hon. Idris Bolaji Muse Ariyoh commiserate with the family of the former Mandate Chairman in Oshodi-Isolo Local Government Elder Albert Babasola Fatoki who passed on today, 10th January 2021 at his residence in Whaabi Larinde after a brief illness.  In a condolence message signed by him, he described the late as a leader, father, an astute politician, and a community leader who spent his life in the service of humanity and his community. He described the exit of the political icon as a great loss to the entire Oshodi community, Ogunoloko ward, and  most especially the All Progressives Congress whose immense contribution to its success in all the elections cannot be over-emphasized.  He prayed Allah  grants him eternal rest and give the family, his friends, and associates the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
