STAFF, POLITICAL ASSOCIATES AND FRIENDS CELEBRATE THE BIRTHDAY OF APAPA LOCAL GOVERNMENT CHAIRMAN IN ABSENTIA.

It was a joyful mood in the golden council in Lagos State,Apapa local government as staff,political associates trooped out en masse to celebrate the birthday of the council boss,Hon Adele Owolabi Elijah whose birthday bus today.  


Though surprise parties were planned by some of his close associates,friends and Well wishers,but he was conspicuously absent as he failed to show up for the event as he was said to have decided to use the day to commune with God and commit his earthly journey to his hand.  


The Burma road became a beehive of activities since 7am in the morning with band boys  singing and praising God on his behalf,later celebration cakes from Travtrain consulting ,his staff,NULGE and several others surfaced.  


The brief ceremony later held in his office as the council manager,the council treasurer, Supervisory councillors and others converged,prayed and committed the journey of the council boss into the hand of God almighty.  


Though conspicuously absent,that didn't stop the merriment and celebration at the council Secretariat as political associates equally showed up and joined the train. 


Most of the workers spoken with expressed humility and humane nature of the council helmsman and prayed that God should continue to uphold him and take him to greater heights.  


After the prayer session ,the celebration moved down and small chops were provided for those in attendance. 


It was a perfect outing despite Hon Adele Owolabi Elijah's absence which invariably shows the conviviality that exists between the council boss and the people.

Ooni Condemns Incessant Rape, child Abuse as Ife celebrates Yeyemolu festival

The Arole Oduduwa & Ooni of Ife, Ooni Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi Ojaja II has condemned incessant rape, child abuse and other forms of molestation particularly against women in the society. Ooni Ogunwusi made the disclosure on Friday, during the annual Yeyemolu festival; which is the remembrance of the first queen of the Ooni of Ife, at his Ile Oduduwa Palace, Ile-Ife. HON. IDRIS BOLAJI MUSE ARIYOH COMMISERATES WITH FATOKI FAMILY

Oshodi-Isolo Local Government Chairman Hon. Idris Bolaji Muse Ariyoh commiserate with the family of the former Mandate Chairman in Oshodi-Isolo Local Government Elder Albert Babasola Fatoki who passed on today, 10th January 2021 at his residence in Whaabi Larinde after a brief illness.  In a condolence message signed by him, he described the late as a leader, father, an astute politician, and a community leader who spent his life in the service of humanity and his community. He described the exit of the political icon as a great loss to the entire Oshodi community, Ogunoloko ward, and  most especially the All Progressives Congress whose immense contribution to its success in all the elections cannot be over-emphasized.  He prayed Allah  grants him eternal rest and give the family, his friends, and associates the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
