Charges Beneficiaries on a good performance in the exams



The Executive chairman, Oshodi-Isolo Local Government, Hon. Idris Bolaji Muse Ariyoh has reiterated his commitment to continued support for education within the council area.


This assurance was given  at the presentation of registration confirmation slip to the beneficiaries of the year 2020 Free GCE  educational support scheme.


The council boss, Hon. Idris Bolaji Muse Ariyoh at the event admonished the beneficiaries to utilize the privilege given to them and study hard to come out in flying colors in their exams.


According to him, "as part of our administration's commitment to education, we would  continue to provide the necessary support for students, who wish to pursue their academic dream.

" Covid-19 no doubt has affected a lot of things while many parents' finances are already threatened, the GCE forms given to you all would be of relief to your parents or guardians while I implore you to put this opportunity into good usage through good performance in  your exams.


"Academic Excellence must be your watchword as a path to greatness as there is no leader without a reader.


" I charge you to study hard and show yourself worthy, as  the world awaits your glory, Hon.Ariyoh, concluded".


In the same direction , the supervisory councilor for Education, Hon.Ganiyu Mejidende  and the Head of the Department of  Education , Mrs.Akanbi Fatimat Olayinka at the presentation ceremony encouraged the  beneficiaries to be  good ambassadors of the local government in their respective examination centres, while they appealed to them to study the electronic past questions produced by the  council authority to enhance their performance during the examination
