YOREM DISSOCIATES SELF FROM VANDALISM IN LAGOS MAINLAND, URGES GOVERNMENT TO FISH OUT PERPETRATORS

Few minutes ago I got a call from Ebute-Metta that some hoodlums were on their way to LAWMA office in Otto with the intent of setting it ablaze. 



Though, I am less concern but the most disturbing is that they were chanting "We are from Floor" which happens to be my base in Ebute-Metta East presently under Yaba Local Council Development Area, while Otto is in Ebute-Metta West in Lagos Mainland Local Government. 


I believe this is a ploy to one tarnish the good reputation we had built over the years, because I am bold to say that we at Aluta Floor are genuine Fighters; we are very clear about our demands. 


We are neither vandals  nor miscreants; and secondly, they are trying to divert the attention of the State to us so as to creat animosity between Our group, YOREM, Our Leader, Adewale Balogun and the State. 


I am the interim Secretary of Yoruba Revolutionary Movement(YOREM), and I want to deny strongly our involvement in this said incident and any other of such that will creat unnecessary unrest within and outside of the State. 


We are a group committed to the actualisation of either a Regional Autonomy within Nigeria or a separate Nation outside of the present British Contraption.


For the umpteenth time, I want to state that Our Movement, Yoruba Revolutionary Movement,YOREM is not involved in the ongoing incident.

Ooni Condemns Incessant Rape, child Abuse as Ife celebrates Yeyemolu festival

The Arole Oduduwa & Ooni of Ife, Ooni Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi Ojaja II has condemned incessant rape, child abuse and other forms of molestation particularly against women in the society. Ooni Ogunwusi made the disclosure on Friday, during the annual Yeyemolu festival; which is the remembrance of the first queen of the Ooni of Ife, at his Ile Oduduwa Palace, Ile-Ife. The frontline traditional ruler while explaining the indispensable roles of women in the society, admonished that they should be respectfully protected from all social vices towards creating a better society. “Women must not be made prey in the hands of hoodlums and other disgruntled elements in the society. HON. IDRIS BOLAJI MUSE ARIYOH COMMISERATES WITH FATOKI FAMILY

Oshodi-Isolo Local Government Chairman Hon. Idris Bolaji Muse Ariyoh commiserate with the family of the former Mandate Chairman in Oshodi-Isolo Local Government Elder Albert Babasola Fatoki who passed on today, 10th January 2021 at his residence in Whaabi Larinde after a brief illness.  In a condolence message signed by him, he described the late as a leader, father, an astute politician, and a community leader who spent his life in the service of humanity and his community. He described the exit of the political icon as a great loss to the entire Oshodi community, Ogunoloko ward, and  most especially the All Progressives Congress whose immense contribution to its success in all the elections cannot be over-emphasized.  He prayed Allah  grants him eternal rest and give the family, his friends, and associates the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
