DR. ABDULATEEF VISITS ISOLO LCDA

It was a surprise visit as former Lagos State Commissioner for Home Affairs, Dr. Abdulateef Abdulhakeem sauntered into the new ultra-modern Chairman's Complex on Tuesday 24th November 2020.

Dr Abdulateef who was chaffeur-driven into the council secretariat was warmly received by the council chairman, Hon Shamsudeen Abiodun Olaleye; the Secretary to the Local Government (SLG),  Hon Emmanuel Olojede and the Supervisor for Agric & Community Development, Hon Nofisat Shobayo-Lawal.

After exchanging pleasantries, the council boss took his visitor on a tour of the new office complex to the admiration of the latter.

The visitor was initially invited to the commissioning of the new office complex and other legacy projects of the council last Thursday 19th November 2020. However,  due to circumstances beyond his control he couldn't make it to the event.

But the former Amirul Hajj was determined to register his presence by paying a surprise visit today

"I followed the proceedings of the  commissioning on the television and the social media. I must confess, there is a wide difference between what I  saw on television and social media and what  I'm seeing physically before me.

"I must confess, this is wonderful and I praise our council chairman for all the efforts and resources put into this." He said.

Responding, Hon Olaleye thanked Dr Abdulateef for finding time to breeze in to see things for him selves noting that his visit is a motivation to do more.
