Joins Oba Ogabi to celebrates 5 years on throne 


The celebration of the 5 years on the throne of His Royal Majesty,Oba Abraham Olatunji Ogabi (JP) Oyikuli 1, the Onimeke of Imeke kingdom on Saturday, turned reunion as Traditional Rulers,sons and daughters of the Badagry division unite to celebrate the traditional stool.


The event which had prominent dignitaries in attendance was thrown into a loud euphoria when the leader of the Lagos4Lagos movement, Mr. Abdul - Azeez Olajide Adediran, arrived in an entourage of renown  grassroots politicians and Friends.


Jandor, as he is preferably called, is christened “a symbol of unity” in the division and across Lagos state.


Speaking on the event, JANDOR said “I joined Sons and Daughters of Imeke Kingdom to celebrate the 5 years on the throne of His Royal Majesty, Oba Abraham Olatunji Ogabi (JP) Oyikuli 1, the Onimeke of Imeke kingdom and the installation of my sister, the Chairman Oriade LCDA Hon. Ramotalai Akinola - Hassan as the  Iyalaje of Imeke Kingdom.


Jandor noted that “It was good to see all our Royal Fathers turning up for their own,a strong indication of unity amongst our traditional Rulers in Badagry division.


Speaking on the Lagos4Lagos initiative which is now a slogan in many households of the 3 senatorial district of the state, he said “We have decided never to go our different ways again,this time,we are uniting for a purpose”.

Ooni Condemns Incessant Rape, child Abuse as Ife celebrates Yeyemolu festival

The Arole Oduduwa & Ooni of Ife, Ooni Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi Ojaja II has condemned incessant rape, child abuse and other forms of molestation particularly against women in the society. Ooni Ogunwusi made the disclosure on Friday, during the annual Yeyemolu festival; which is the remembrance of the first queen of the Ooni of Ife, at his Ile Oduduwa Palace, Ile-Ife. The frontline traditional ruler while explaining the indispensable roles of women in the society, admonished that they should be respectfully protected from all social vices towards creating a better society. “Women must not be made prey in the hands of hoodlums and other disgruntled elements in the society. HON. IDRIS BOLAJI MUSE ARIYOH COMMISERATES WITH FATOKI FAMILY

Oshodi-Isolo Local Government Chairman Hon. Idris Bolaji Muse Ariyoh commiserate with the family of the former Mandate Chairman in Oshodi-Isolo Local Government Elder Albert Babasola Fatoki who passed on today, 10th January 2021 at his residence in Whaabi Larinde after a brief illness.  In a condolence message signed by him, he described the late as a leader, father, an astute politician, and a community leader who spent his life in the service of humanity and his community. He described the exit of the political icon as a great loss to the entire Oshodi community, Ogunoloko ward, and  most especially the All Progressives Congress whose immense contribution to its success in all the elections cannot be over-emphasized.  He prayed Allah  grants him eternal rest and give the family, his friends, and associates the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
