LAGOS TASK FORCE OPERATES WITH BRANDED VEHICLES DURING ENFORCEMENT OPERATIONS.

The attention of the Lagos State Environmental and Special Offences (Enforcement) Unit (Taskforce) has been drawn to a fake and unsubstantiated story  circulating on social media that operatives of the Agency used an unbranded vehicles (Sienna) to arrest motorists plying brt corridor at Marryland.


The Agency wish to state that story was not only fake but that there was never a time the enforcement team used any uncustomized vehicle to carry out enforcement operation on brt corridor around Maryland.


Members of the public are advised to be wary of fake officers who moves from different spots across the State carrying out illegal enforcement operations by impersonating to be from the Agency.


 "The operatives of the Agency at any enforcement operations at different parts of the State uses branded vehicles and always have a jacket on their uniform with a bold inscription 'LASG TASKFORCE''. Any enforcement Police Officers without the our branded vehicles or a jacket on his or her uniform is not from Lagos State Task Force" 


Members of the public particularly motorists  are hereby alerted to identify Police Officers of the Agency from those impersonating during any enforcement assignments across the State.

Ooni Condemns Incessant Rape, child Abuse as Ife celebrates Yeyemolu festival

The Arole Oduduwa & Ooni of Ife, Ooni Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi Ojaja II has condemned incessant rape, child abuse and other forms of molestation particularly against women in the society. Ooni Ogunwusi made the disclosure on Friday, during the annual Yeyemolu festival; which is the remembrance of the first queen of the Ooni of Ife, at his Ile Oduduwa Palace, Ile-Ife. Oshodi-Isolo Local Government Chairman Hon. Idris Bolaji Muse Ariyoh commiserate with the family of the former Mandate Chairman in Oshodi-Isolo Local Government Elder Albert Babasola Fatoki who passed on today, 10th January 2021 at his residence in Whaabi Larinde after a brief illness.  In a condolence message signed by him, he described the late as a leader, father, an astute politician, and a community leader who spent his life in the service of humanity and his community. He described the exit of the political icon as a great loss to the entire Oshodi community, Ogunoloko ward, and  most especially the All Progressives Congress whose immense contribution to its success in all the elections cannot be over-emphasized.  He prayed Allah  grants him eternal rest and give the family, his friends, and associates the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
