OSHODI ISOLO COUNCIL BOSS LAYS FOUNDATION FOR AN ULTRA-MODERN GENERAL HOSPITAL AND DOCTOR'S QUARTER AT OGUNDELE




To equip  the Centre with modern health facilities and purchase of an Ambulance 


*Reiterates commitment to the development of educational infrastructure as Ogundele Primary school is set to wear a new look* 


The Executive Chairman of Oshodi-Isolo Local Government Hon. Idris Bolaji Muse on Tuesday laid the foundation for the construction of an ultra-modern general hospital and Doctor's quarter at Ogundele, 

Ewutuntun, Oshodi.


At the foundation laying which marked an epoch of trajectory for development in the local government, the council helmsman, Hon. Idris Bolaji Muse Ariyoh assured the residents of his commitment to a better living for the people which occasioned the reason for the expansion of health facilities within the council area.



According to him, " Oshodi deserves to have modern functional health facilities that will be able to cater for the  health challenges of the people beyond the primary level we have.


" With the ultra-modern General Hospital, we can be rest assured that quality health services will be at the reach of the people, and both the new hospital and the existing one would be equipped to serve the same purpose for the people," Ariyoh said.


He also implored politicians to desist from taking glory of what they did not facilitate for the people

" It wasn't funny when I was told some politicians are already spreading rumor of them facilitating this project and planning to come here for foundation laying ceremony.

"We  should work together through provision of basic amenities for the betterment of our people and community without subverting efforts of one another for cheap political gains" 


In the same vein, the council boss assured of his commitment to the upgrading of educational infrastructure within the Ewutuntun school complex with an immediate plan to revitalize block of classrooms, administrative building, and building of modern toilets in the school.


The assurance was given during the laying of the foundation for the new toilets in the school while the teachers and other staff appreciated him for his continued support for the growth and development of education within the council area.


The project is said to be ready for completio  by  January 2021 according to Engr. Henry Akintunde, who is managing the project on behalf of Emamed Nig. Ltd.


He promised that the  Company will do everything possible to ensure it operates within the time frame and ensures quality work is done.


The foundation laying was also witnessed by the representative of the Federal Ministry of Health Mr.Henry Jaiyeoba who lauded the council chairman for his passion for the development of his council area which is responsible for such a laudable project to ongoing.


While he implored the residents to provide the contractor with the enabled and conducive environment for smooth operation and execution of the project.


The foundation laying was symbolized by the council chairman, Hon. Idris Bolaji Muse Ariyoh, the CDC chairman, Alhaji Olawuyi, leader of the House, Hon.Rasheed Obasa, Hon.Seyi Jaiyesimi councilor Ewu ward.


The august occasion was also witnessed by members of the Executive Council, Legislators, Party Ward chairmen, and the representatives of the CDC and Women of the community.
