•••Assures residents of the  commitment to infrastructural development within the council area


Oshodi-Isolo Local Government Authority has reiterated her  commitment to infrastructural development within the council area in the quest of  providing good road network.


This assurance was given by the Supervisory Councilor for works and infrastructure, Hon. Owolabi Olagoke during his inspection at the completion of the reconstruction of Ewenla street.


According to  him, the council helmsman, Hon. Idris Bolaji Muse Ariyoh is not relenting his oars of providing good roads network within the council area.


He said further that the delay in road construction was due to the rainy season which is not conducive for construction while efforts are in top gear to commence work properly with the project ongoing at Ogunlana street.


In the same vein, implored residents to exercise patience with the  Council Authority on the condition of roads in some areas while the council authority is beaming his light with solution to be provided.

Ooni Condemns Incessant Rape, child Abuse as Ife celebrates Yeyemolu festival

The Arole Oduduwa & Ooni of Ife, Ooni Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi Ojaja II has condemned incessant rape, child abuse and other forms of molestation particularly against women in the society. Ooni Ogunwusi made the disclosure on Friday, during the annual Yeyemolu festival; which is the remembrance of the first queen of the Ooni of Ife, at his Ile Oduduwa Palace, Ile-Ife. HON. IDRIS BOLAJI MUSE ARIYOH COMMISERATES WITH FATOKI FAMILY

Oshodi-Isolo Local Government Chairman Hon. Idris Bolaji Muse Ariyoh commiserate with the family of the former Mandate Chairman in Oshodi-Isolo Local Government Elder Albert Babasola Fatoki who passed on today, 10th January 2021 at his residence in Whaabi Larinde after a brief illness.  In a condolence message signed by him, he described the late as a leader, father, an astute politician, and a community leader who spent his life in the service of humanity and his community. He described the exit of the political icon as a great loss to the entire Oshodi community, Ogunoloko ward, and  most especially the All Progressives Congress whose immense contribution to its success in all the elections cannot be over-emphasized.  He prayed Allah  grants him eternal rest and give the family, his friends, and associates the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
