Jandor celebrates Christians on Christmas day
** says only good governance can complement the virtues of Christ
The initiator of the Lagos4Lagos movement, Mr. Abdul - Azeez Olajide Adediran, on Thursday sent a message to all Christians across the world, most especially those in Lagos to commemorate this year's Christmas celebration.
Jandor, as he is popular called, got his inspirations from his Christian mother, who he said taught him and his siblings the act of giving, sharing love and living uprightly to justify the essence of humanity.
The leader of the Lagos4Lagos movement noted that the teachings of Jesus Christ can be likened to that of a good leader whose existence is for the betterment of humanity.
Jandor, said not until this is achieved, Lagosians may not really feel the beauty of the festive period, which is all about sharing love and ensuring that the impact of governance is felt.
The Awori - born Lagosian, has through his many life-impacting programs in education, empowering the needy sports, religious programs, and other socio-political activities touched many lives and also established political structures throughout the 20 Local Governments and 37 Local Council Development Areas in his bid to ensure that the people choose better representatives.
While urging the people of Lagos to keep alert while celebrating Christmas, in compliance with government's advisory towards mitigating a full blown second wave of the Covid - 19 pandemic, Jandor said “We are closer to defeating the deadly pandemic, just a little patience is required of us and I am convinced that we shall come out better”.
