LAGOS STATE HOUSE OF ASSEMBLY VISITS COUNCIL
INSPECTS LASIEC OFFICE AND FACILITIES
In preparation for the forthcoming Local Government Election to take place next year, the Lagos State Government is leaving no stone unturned in ensuring that the exercise meets the international standard.
As part of efforts for adequate preparation ahead of the election, the Lagos State House Assembly via her House Committee on Judiciary, Public petition, and LASIEC on Tuesday, visited the council to inspect the office of the electoral umpire and facilities in place.
Leading the Delegation is Hon. Victor Akande, the Chairman House Committee on Judiciary, Public petition, and LASIEC to inspect the facilities.
The delegation was taken around the office of the State electoral umpire while challenges confronting the office were noted for immediate action to be taken.
The Council chairman, Hon. Idris Bolaji Muse Ariyoh during the inspection of the office and facilities assured the delegation from the State Assembly of his readiness and commitment to keep providing a conducive working environment for the staff of the state electoral body.
Concluding, the council helmsman appreciated the delegation for their visit while all the challenges observed will be put into action for immediate solutions.
