Obasa Commiserates With Ajiboso Family.
The Speaker of Lagos House of Assembly has sent his heartfelt condolences to the Ajiboso family on the demise of their patriarch, Chief Enoch Kolapomoye Ajiboso, a former Chairman of Agege Local Government Council and a member of Agege Leadership Forum, who died on Sunday, December 20, 2020.
Obasa in his condolence message said the news of Chief Ajiboso's death came as a rude shock to him because the deceased showed no sign of ill-health when they met recently.
“We were together last week at a meeting of the Agege Leadership Forum and he was his usual self, joyful and active.
"We, however, take solace in the fact that he lived a noble life and had a brilliant career as a banker, an experienced public administrator, a community leader and a silent achiever who possessed great moral values.
“As the chairman of the Association of Local Governments of Nigeria (ALGON) and its national treasurer, he played prominent roles that cannot be forgotten easily.
"The great job which he performed while he served as a two-term Chairman of Agege Local Government Council and Commissioner for Agriculture in the state stood him out as a standard bearer of sound principles..
"His legacies such as the introduction of Eko Meat Vans, Plants Nursery at Temu, Epe and Eko Rice and Oil will forever remain indelible in our memories,” Obasa said.
Obasa said the late Ajiboso would be missed by the Agege Leadership Forum where his wisdom and contributions to issues and policies had been of immense benefit to Agege community and Lagos.
