YULETIDE MESSAGE FROM THE CHAIRMAN, NURTW, LAGOS STATE CHAPTER.




On behalf of my humble self :Alhaji Musliu Ayinde Akinsanya, family and entire NURTW Lagos State Executive members, we wish you and your family Happy new year.


May year 2021 bring you laughter and joy. May it also bring you exciting new plans for the future, happiness and good health. 


Please be informed that during this Yuletide period, We are thinking of you and we send you our warmest regards, love and best wishes.


In order to have an accident-free  Yuletide, it is pertinent we educate ourselves both the drivers and the passengers.


To the passengers, please be civil in dealing with the drivers, don’t distract the driver in any way. Remember you also risk death or serious injury on the road due to the actions or inactions of the driver and other road users. 


To the drivers, you need to fully concentrate while driving. 


* Wear your seat belt at all times, don't drink and drive,


* Keep all COVID 19 rules by putting on your face mask and avoids close contact.


* Try to keep all interactions to a reasonable level and do not over-speed.


* Obey the traffic rules and carry your driver’s license and other vehicle documents with you.


* Plan the route to your destination and allow yourself enough time to reach the destination.


* Do not overload and drive defensively.


* Have a good rest before you embark on your journey.


* Try to recognise potentially dangerous drivers and pedestrians along the road and stay clear of them.


* Always wear your seat belt and see that everyone in the car is wearing theirs.


* Stay within the speed limit at all times.


* Only overtake when it is absolutely safe to do so.


* Avoid distractions on the road such as texting, conversations on mobile phones etc.


May you gain health, wealth, knowledge and happiness in everything you do in the coming year. Happy New Year”
