OBIDAIRO EMERGES BAALE OF OKE SHOGUNLE.

A prince of the Obidairo  family of shogunle, Prince Muniru Obidairo has been coronated as the Baale of Oke Shogunle in Oshodi Isolo local government area of Lagos State.  


The new Baale of Oke Shogunle , Prince Obidairo was crowned by the Elewu of Ewu kingdom, Oba Shakirudeen Kuti in the company of Osolo of Osolo and Ojon of Ejigbo.


Oba Kuti prayed for a successful tenure for the new Baale and his subjects , urging him to continue to pursue the progress and development of his town 


The brief installation ceremony had in attendance prominent indigenes of the town and most members of the ruling parties.  


The local government council was ably represented by supervisory councillors, special advisers and politicians who trooped out to celebrate their own.

Ooni Condemns Incessant Rape, child Abuse as Ife celebrates Yeyemolu festival

The Arole Oduduwa & Ooni of Ife, Ooni Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi Ojaja II has condemned incessant rape, child abuse and other forms of molestation particularly against women in the society. Ooni Ogunwusi made the disclosure on Friday, during the annual Yeyemolu festival; which is the remembrance of the first queen of the Ooni of Ife, at his Ile Oduduwa Palace, Ile-Ife. HON. IDRIS BOLAJI MUSE ARIYOH COMMISERATES WITH FATOKI FAMILY

Oshodi-Isolo Local Government Chairman Hon. Idris Bolaji Muse Ariyoh commiserate with the family of the former Mandate Chairman in Oshodi-Isolo Local Government Elder Albert Babasola Fatoki who passed on today, 10th January 2021 at his residence in Whaabi Larinde after a brief illness.  In a condolence message signed by him, he described the late as a leader, father, an astute politician, and a community leader who spent his life in the service of humanity and his community. He described the exit of the political icon as a great loss to the entire Oshodi community, Ogunoloko ward, and  most especially the All Progressives Congress whose immense contribution to its success in all the elections cannot be over-emphasized.  He prayed Allah  grants him eternal rest and give the family, his friends, and associates the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
