COUNCIL HELMSMAN SIGNS APPROPRIATION BILL INTO LAW

...APPLAUDS THE LEGISLATURE ON QUICK PASSAGE



In consonance with the doctrine of separation power as enshrined in the Constitution, the Council Chairman of Oshodi-Isolo Local Government Hon.Idris Bolaji Muse Ariyoh on Wednesday, 24th February 2021 signed appropriation for the fiscal year into law.


The signing was witnessed by the leader of the house, Hon.Rasheed Obasa, Majority leader the House, Hon.Oluwaseyi Jaiyesimi,  Clerk of the house , Head of Administration, Alhaji Lateefat Balogun and HOD Budget Mrs Lambo.



During the signing of the bill into law at the chairman's office, the leader of the House, Hon Rasheed Obasa said that upon receiving the bill from the council  chairman after a  good public presentation that the house waste no time to subject the appropriation bill into legislative scrutiny.


He said further that in ensuring that the Budget captured the yearning and agitations  of the people at the grassroots that the Supervisory councilors and their HOD's were invited for budget defense an avenue well explored for deep insight into impact and implementation.


In his word," after critical deliberation on the bill, the house resolved that the interest, growth and development of the community have been well captured In which necessitate the bring back the document for your assent to become law without further delay", he said.


The council Chairman, Hon. Idris Bolaji Muse Ariyoh appreciated the legislative house for the quality work done on the bill before its passage.


He promised that every detail of the fiscal appropriation will be implemented but for the betterment of all and sundry and also to consolidate on the achievement recorded so far.

Ooni Condemns Incessant Rape, child Abuse as Ife celebrates Yeyemolu festival

The Arole Oduduwa & Ooni of Ife, Ooni Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi Ojaja II has condemned incessant rape, child abuse and other forms of molestation particularly against women in the society. Ooni Ogunwusi made the disclosure on Friday, during the annual Yeyemolu festival; which is the remembrance of the first queen of the Ooni of Ife, at his Ile Oduduwa Palace, Ile-Ife. HON. IDRIS BOLAJI MUSE ARIYOH COMMISERATES WITH FATOKI FAMILY

Oshodi-Isolo Local Government Chairman Hon. Idris Bolaji Muse Ariyoh commiserate with the family of the former Mandate Chairman in Oshodi-Isolo Local Government Elder Albert Babasola Fatoki who passed on today, 10th January 2021 at his residence in Whaabi Larinde after a brief illness.  In a condolence message signed by him, he described the late as a leader, father, an astute politician, and a community leader who spent his life in the service of humanity and his community. He described the exit of the political icon as a great loss to the entire Oshodi community, Ogunoloko ward, and  most especially the All Progressives Congress whose immense contribution to its success in all the elections cannot be over-emphasized.  He prayed Allah  grants him eternal rest and give the family, his friends, and associates the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
