Oshodi-Isolo Local government is set to name and Instal a new Iyaloja general for all the markets in the local government.


Speaking at the executive meeting of the Association of commodity  women and men of Nigeria held on 11th February 2021 at the legislative hall in Oshodi local governmentt secretariat,  Oshodi Babaloja general Alhaji Abdul Razak Sanni( povida) said all things being equal the next Oshodi iyaloja general would be installed in few weeks as it has gotten the approval of the local government Chairman and state government to instal Alhaja Sikirat Ejide Adeyanju ( Socopao) as the new Oshodi Iyaloja general based on the ratification by all the members of the association.


On behalf of the association, he thanked the local government chairman Hon.Idris Bolaji Muse Ariyoh for his unflinching support to the association in all its activities.


Earlier ,the Executive Chairman Hon. Idris Bolaji Muse Ariyoh who briefly attended the meeting advised the market men and women  to always shun activities that can bring disharmony and rancor within its fold and continue to work as a united entity to achieve the common goal of the association.


He thanked the association for their support to his  administration and wished the incoming  Oshodi iyaloja general Mrs. Sikirat Ejide Adeyanju a successful tenure in advance.

The new Oshodi iyaloja general would be installed after the demise of former Oshodi Iyaloja general Alhaja Taiwo  Arowojobe ( May her soul rest in peace ) .


 Alhaja Abibat Ayoade (Iyalaje General ) iyaloja Shogunle Alhaja Sidikat owosho, Vice General Alhaji Tajudeen Lateef , Oyekanmi wisdom ( local government market liaison officer ) were present at the executive session of the association.

Ooni Condemns Incessant Rape, child Abuse as Ife celebrates Yeyemolu festival

The Arole Oduduwa & Ooni of Ife, Ooni Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi Ojaja II has condemned incessant rape, child abuse and other forms of molestation particularly against women in the society. Ooni Ogunwusi made the disclosure on Friday, during the annual Yeyemolu festival; which is the remembrance of the first queen of the Ooni of Ife, at his Ile Oduduwa Palace, Ile-Ife. HON. IDRIS BOLAJI MUSE ARIYOH COMMISERATES WITH FATOKI FAMILY

Oshodi-Isolo Local Government Chairman Hon. Idris Bolaji Muse Ariyoh commiserate with the family of the former Mandate Chairman in Oshodi-Isolo Local Government Elder Albert Babasola Fatoki who passed on today, 10th January 2021 at his residence in Whaabi Larinde after a brief illness.  In a condolence message signed by him, he described the late as a leader, father, an astute politician, and a community leader who spent his life in the service of humanity and his community. He described the exit of the political icon as a great loss to the entire Oshodi community, Ogunoloko ward, and  most especially the All Progressives Congress whose immense contribution to its success in all the elections cannot be over-emphasized.  He prayed Allah  grants him eternal rest and give the family, his friends, and associates the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
