COUNCIL CHAIRMAN VISITS SCENE OF TRAGEDY

...Imploreresidents to report defective building to appropriate agency 


Oshodi-Isolo local government Chairman Hon.Idris Bolaji Muse Ariyoh Tuesday  visited the scene of a tragedy which occurred on Monday  afternoon in 19 Oronna street in Igbeyinadun ward of the local government .


According to an eye witness who briefed the local government chairman and his entourage on the incident said the perimeter fence of a two story building which house Odeogberin comprehensive college and a church collapsed and killed a two year old boy who was playing  beside fence.


Hon.Idris Bolaji Muse Ariyoh sympathised with the family of the deceased boy and implored residents to always be vigilant and report to the appropriate authority if they observe any structural defect to avoid  this type of incident.


Meanwhile Lagos state building council agency ( LASBCA ) has sealed the building  with a contravention notice and requested the owner or agent of the building to report to their office while Lagos state safety commission agency were present to prevent entrance into the building with restriction tape pending reports of non-destructive test by Lagos state council building agency .

Ooni Condemns Incessant Rape, child Abuse as Ife celebrates Yeyemolu festival

The Arole Oduduwa & Ooni of Ife, Ooni Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi Ojaja II has condemned incessant rape, child abuse and other forms of molestation particularly against women in the society. Ooni Ogunwusi made the disclosure on Friday, during the annual Yeyemolu festival; which is the remembrance of the first queen of the Ooni of Ife, at his Ile Oduduwa Palace, Ile-Ife. HON. IDRIS BOLAJI MUSE ARIYOH COMMISERATES WITH FATOKI FAMILY

Oshodi-Isolo Local Government Chairman Hon. Idris Bolaji Muse Ariyoh commiserate with the family of the former Mandate Chairman in Oshodi-Isolo Local Government Elder Albert Babasola Fatoki who passed on today, 10th January 2021 at his residence in Whaabi Larinde after a brief illness.  In a condolence message signed by him, he described the late as a leader, father, an astute politician, and a community leader who spent his life in the service of humanity and his community. He described the exit of the political icon as a great loss to the entire Oshodi community, Ogunoloko ward, and  most especially the All Progressives Congress whose immense contribution to its success in all the elections cannot be over-emphasized.  He prayed Allah  grants him eternal rest and give the family, his friends, and associates the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
