I WILL REBRAND OSHODI FOR GREATNESS- KENDOO

A chairmanship hopeful for the executive seat of Oshodi Isolo local government, Otunba Kehinde Almaroof Oloyede popularly known as kendoo has promised to rebrand Oshodi for greatness. 


He made the promise on Tuesday in Lagos at a stakeholders meeting in his office where he disclosed that his plan for Oshodi will be to turn around it's fortunes positively. 


He  vowed to rebrand and rework the image of Oshodi/Isolo from the land of the rough and rugged to the land of “Trade and Commerce with Secured and Peaceful environment”. 


On the road to achieve this monumental transformational agenda, Kendooo said, he will evaluate current situation of things and swing into action immediately he assumes driver seat of the  prestigious local government.


Kendooo further asserted that he will  adopt democratic approach as postulated by Abraham Lincoln, who defined democracy as “Government of the People, by the people and for the people”. 


According to the business mogul cum politician "We shall ensure that our policies and programmes are people centered; a collective reflection of a well researched and deliberate master plan in collaboration with Oshodi/Isolo stakeholders."


Finally, he stated that a new brand of Oshodi/Isolo local government is achievable through the  unflinching support and unwavering commitment of the people whom he said will be the basis of his government..


"As a thorough bred Oshodi son, the people shall be the focus of our administration,we will ensure we return the glory of Oshodi back where we shall all be proud of as a city of commerce and industry, the negativity about our local government will vanish as pro people policies and programmes will be introduced and investors will be encouraged to invest in our new Oshodi", he concluded.

Ooni Condemns Incessant Rape, child Abuse as Ife celebrates Yeyemolu festival

The Arole Oduduwa & Ooni of Ife, Ooni Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi Ojaja II has condemned incessant rape, child abuse and other forms of molestation particularly against women in the society. Oshodi-Isolo Local Government Chairman Hon. Idris Bolaji Muse Ariyoh commiserate with the family of the former Mandate Chairman in Oshodi-Isolo Local Government Elder Albert Babasola Fatoki who passed on today, 10th January 2021 at his residence in Whaabi Larinde after a brief illness.  In a condolence message signed by him, he described the late as a leader, father, an astute politician, and a community leader who spent his life in the service of humanity and his community. He described the exit of the political icon as a great loss to the entire Oshodi community, Ogunoloko ward, and  most especially the All Progressives Congress whose immense contribution to its success in all the elections cannot be over-emphasized.  He prayed Allah  grants him eternal rest and give the family, his friends, and associates the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
