KENDOO SALUTES BUHARI FOR RE APPOINTING OSHODI BORN DG OF NFVCB.

The lead symbol of Anularigba, Otunba Kehinde Adeola Almaroof Oloyede, has given kudos to the President and Commander-in-Chief of Armed Forces, President Muhammadu Buhari, for re- appointing the Director General of the National Film and video censors board, Alhaji Adedayo Thomas for another term in office. 


In a press release by his media office, Otunba Oloyede congratulated Alhaji Dayo Thomas for the commendable feat he achieved in his first term in office while imploring him to increase the tempo so that his tenure will be remembered for good.  


He described the Oshodi born technocrat as an intelligent, reliable and industrious person who is committed to good governance.  


In his words "I want to salute the President and commander in chief of the armed forces for the  re-appointment of our brother and colleague for another term in office. Alhaji Thomas is a thorough bred professional media expert who has excelled in his professional calling. "

Finally, the astute politician cum  business man promised that he will tap from the wealth of experience of Alhaji Thomas in the administration of Oshodi when elected.

Ooni Condemns Incessant Rape, child Abuse as Ife celebrates Yeyemolu festival

The Arole Oduduwa & Ooni of Ife, Ooni Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi Ojaja II has condemned incessant rape, child abuse and other forms of molestation particularly against women in the society. Ooni Ogunwusi made the disclosure on Friday, during the annual Yeyemolu festival; which is the remembrance of the first queen of the Ooni of Ife, at his Ile Oduduwa Palace, Ile-Ife. Oshodi-Isolo Local Government Chairman Hon. Idris Bolaji Muse Ariyoh commiserate with the family of the former Mandate Chairman in Oshodi-Isolo Local Government Elder Albert Babasola Fatoki who passed on today, 10th January 2021 at his residence in Whaabi Larinde after a brief illness.  In a condolence message signed by him, he described the late as a leader, father, an astute politician, and a community leader who spent his life in the service of humanity and his community. He described the exit of the political icon as a great loss to the entire Oshodi community, Ogunoloko ward, and  most especially the All Progressives Congress whose immense contribution to its success in all the elections cannot be over-emphasized.  He prayed Allah  grants him eternal rest and give the family, his friends, and associates the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
