Agbado-Oke: Aspirant Calls For Level playing Field , Sues For Peace
A leading Chairmanship aspirant,Otunba Olukayode AkinTomo from Agbado-Oke Odo LCDA under the umbrella of the All progressives congress has call on the party leadership in the council area and Alimosho federal constituency at large to allow a level playing ground for all the aspirants.
in his statement, AkinTomo said "Nobody would feign ignorance to the fact that, the forthcoming primaries birthed a tension but nonetheless, every lover of democracy with the love of the good people of Agbado Oke-Odo LCDA, should play according to the rules of the game, which is peace and sportsmanship."
"Kayode Akintomo Campaign Organization therefore call on the Party Chairman, other officials of the party and various stakeholders to do the needful by permitting a level playing ground for all the aspirants; we demand the followings:
i.The Executive Chairman of Agbado Oke-Odo LCDA, who is also an aspirant should not be favoured with party machineries.
ii. That, all aspirants be allowed equal access to all the party members and stakeholders.
iii. Harassing of Party Officials be stopped forthwith.
iv. Party faithfuls should not be coerced into acting against their will."
He stated further "We at Kayode Akintomo Campain Organization (KACO), do not see this as a do or die affair, as our participation is basically to right the wrongs of so many years in Agbado Oke-Odo LCDA. Though, we have the best plans and programmes amongst all the aspirants, yet, our approach to this electioneering process hinged on peaceful methodology."
