APC postpones Congresses indefinitely

Ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) has postponed it's planned congresses indefinitely. 



The party in a letter addressed to the Chairman of the  Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) dated July 6th 2021 signed by the Chairman of the Caretaker /Extraordinary Convention planning committee, H.E Mai Mala Buni and secretary, Senator John James Akpan Udoedehe  disclosed that the congresses by the said letter has been suspended indefinitely. 


According to the letter made available to newsmen on Friday  titled  Re- Notice of Congresses "we refer to our letter reference number APC/NHDQ/021/20  dated 10th June 2021 on the above subject  and we wish to inform the commission that the party has rescheduled it's congresses and National convention to a later date that will be communicated to you , and the letter serves as formal notification pursuant to the provision of section 85of the electoral (2010) as amended"



The postponement has laid to rest the speculation in some quarters that the ward Congress earlier planned for the 24th of July will ultimately clash with the local government elections in Ogun and Lagos states.

Ooni Condemns Incessant Rape, child Abuse as Ife celebrates Yeyemolu festival

The Arole Oduduwa & Ooni of Ife, Ooni Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi Ojaja II has condemned incessant rape, child abuse and other forms of molestation particularly against women in the society. Ooni Ogunwusi made the disclosure on Friday, during the annual Yeyemolu festival; which is the remembrance of the first queen of the Ooni of Ife, at his Ile Oduduwa Palace, Ile-Ife. HON. IDRIS BOLAJI MUSE ARIYOH COMMISERATES WITH FATOKI FAMILY

Oshodi-Isolo Local Government Chairman Hon. Idris Bolaji Muse Ariyoh commiserate with the family of the former Mandate Chairman in Oshodi-Isolo Local Government Elder Albert Babasola Fatoki who passed on today, 10th January 2021 at his residence in Whaabi Larinde after a brief illness.  In a condolence message signed by him, he described the late as a leader, father, an astute politician, and a community leader who spent his life in the service of humanity and his community. He described the exit of the political icon as a great loss to the entire Oshodi community, Ogunoloko ward, and  most especially the All Progressives Congress whose immense contribution to its success in all the elections cannot be over-emphasized.  He prayed Allah  grants him eternal rest and give the family, his friends, and associates the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
