•Reels out Programs for the community with a focus on human capacity development 



It was an interactive moment in shogunle on Thursday, as the campaign train of Otunba Kehinde Oloyede visited the community to charged the CDA'S leadership and the community as election approaches.


The meeting was anchored by Hon.Kehinde Agboni, who introduced the arrival of the special guests and leaders of the community present at the meeting.


Speaking during the visit, the chairmanship of the All Progressives Congress, Otunba Kehinde Oloyode appreciated the people of shogunle for their unflinching support and loyalty display towards his emergence as the flagbearer of the party and continuous support ahead of the forthcoming election.


He expressed his special love and interest for Shogunle community which he said is his second community and home since his sojourn into politics.


Otunba Kehinde Oloyede soliciting support ahead of the election and for the victory of the party beseeched the central Community Development Association's leadership and the people of shogunle community at large to please give the ward  council candidate of the APC , Hon.Femi Wasiu Mustapha the necessary support needed to win at the polls without minding his err in whatever way.


He used the medium to reeled out his programs for the people of Oshodi which encompasses quality education, qualitative healthcare delivery at the grassroots, Infrastructural development, adequate security, and human capacity development via empowerment and support for small-medium scale businesses making life more bearable for the people.


He emphasized the peculiarity and sensitive nature of the community with assurance that marginalization and segregation will be a thing of the past as his administration will ensure all-inclusive governance.


In getting the pulse of the people of Shogunle and their expectations regarding the coming administration


Alhaja Mariam Dambala appreciated the Candidate of the party for his visit and his passion for the development of Oshodi at large while she charged him to fulfill his electoral promises in making Shogunle and Oshodi great again.


In the same vein, Chief Samson Agbetoye, the Apogunpote of Shogunle  implored the incoming chairman to look into the plight confronting the community especially with infrastructure with special focus for the community to have a secondary school.


Moved with emotions and passion for the Community, Hon. Jimoh Adebayo expressed his displeasure with the way shogunle has been schemed out of the developmental agenda of the Local Government since the inception of 1999 while he called on the incoming administration to ensure that the community remains an integral part of his developmental focus.


Speaking further, he charged all the CDA's and people of Shogunle to ensure that they troop out en-masse to mobilize   and canvass vote for the candidate of the party through which they can  be held accountable for their promises made for the community.



The CDC chairman, Alhaji Olawonyi seek help for the development of Shogunle market which he said is in a state of comatose.


Responding, Otunba Kehinde Oloyede assured the people of the community of a new normal and order as his led  administration will prioritize the yearnings and agitations  of the community by ensuring marginalization remains a thing of the past.


He promised that his led administration will swing into action to change the old narratives of the market for the growth and development of shogunle community.


Giving votes of thanks, Chief S.K Fagboun appreciated the chairmanship candidate and his campaign train for their visit.


He, however, assured the team and the party of maximum vote from the community.
