Oshodi-Isolo Council Chair, Oloyede, joins dignitaries in prayer for Tinubu
Marina, Lagos Residence of the Lagos state Governor, hosted dignitaries on Sunday from far and near for a prayer session in honour of the national leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Joining party stalwarts, family members, friends and associates of Tinubu in the prayer session was the executive chairman of Oshodi-Isolo local government, Otunba Kehinde Almoroof Oloyede.
The payer session had in attendance the Governor, Mr Babajide Olushola Sanwoolu, his deputy, Commissioners, cabinet members, council chairmen and other political heavyweights.
All those present prayed for continuous good health for the former Governor of Lagos state, and that God should answer his prayer by making him realize his ambition of ruling the country in 2023.
Speaking on the sideline of the event, the Oshodi-Isolo council boss disclosed that he joined others in offering prayers to the APC national stalwart who has given all he had to humanity.
He posited that nothing can be done except God is in control, and that the negative criticism over the health of the former Lagos governor necessitated that supplications be offered to God to reposition him for the good of the people.
Oloyede said; "we have come to join our national leader to offer supplications to God to continue to uphold, bless and guide him as he steps out to lead the country in 2023 as he has the requisite knowledge to lead Nigeria to greater heights of development."
"I have implicit ad explicit confidence in his ability to deliver on promises and restore the glory of the country."
Oloyede recalled how Tinubu was able to transform Lagos into a more prosperous state when he held away as governor between 1999 and 2007. He said given his antecedents, the Jagaban Borgu has the prerequisite knowledge to make Nigeria work again.
