Senator Anthony Adefuye’s 82nd Birthday: Week-Long Celebration Culminates in Thanksgiving

The birthday celebrations for Baba Senator Anthony Adefuye will span an entire week, featuring a series of activities designed for the esteemed elder statesman as he commemorates his remarkable 82nd birthday alongside family, political associates, business partners, and others. 


Baba has been a significant builder of individuals, uplifting many during times of despair. As a philanthropist, he has provided hope to countless individuals over the past decades. Thus, the celebration transcends a mere family affair, evolving into a community-wide event that has garnered attention both locally and internationally, with activities reaching a carnival-like atmosphere across Lagos.


Among the scheduled events is a final football match, reflecting Baba's passion for sports and wellness. This match has progressed through preliminary rounds involving notable youth football teams across Lagos State, culminating in the final today, the 12th.


On the 14th, Baba and his family will host associates and dignitaries at a lavish party at their residence in Lekki Phase 1. Following this, on the 15th, Baba will conduct an African watch lecture at the Naval Hall Dockyard in Ikoyi, aimed at enabling participants to enhance their knowledge on several salient topics of importance. 


On Sunday, the 16th, Baba Anthony Adefuye and his family will express gratitude to God for a fulfilling life, good health, and family harmony at St. Dennis Catholic Church in Akoka, Lagos. 


Everyone is invited to join the Adefuye family in this joyous thanksgiving celebration, as God has been exceedingly gracious to Baba and his extensive family.

Oshodi-Isolo Local Government Chairman Hon. Idris Bolaji Muse Ariyoh commiserate with the family of the former Mandate Chairman in Oshodi-Isolo Local Government Elder Albert Babasola Fatoki who passed on today, 10th January 2021 at his residence in Whaabi Larinde after a brief illness.  In a condolence message signed by him, he described the late as a leader, father, an astute politician, and a community leader who spent his life in the service of humanity and his community. The proposed Community Development Association Law, 2020, when passed by the Assembly and eventually signed into law by the governor, would institutionalize the activities of CDAs in Ogun state  with a view to developing a uniformed constitution  for its operation with clearly defined roles for the relevant government agencies in the administration of the associations.
